Mt. Taylor Manufacturing operates a state of the art Select 4221 Double Cut Band Mill alongside double Morgan Scragg Mills. This provides the ability to cut standard size wood products very rapidly or to cut custom-sized wood products to customer order.

 

Our current rough green (not kiln dried) offerings:​

• Cants and Beams: Available sizes include 4×4, 4×6, 6×6, 6×8, 8×8, 7×9, and 8×12

• Custom Cutting: Virtually any size and length are available up to 30’ long, as long as large logs are available! 

 

Prices vary according to market conditions, demand, and size. We accept cash, credit or debit cards. Credit accounts can be set up for returning customers with proper credit verification.

 

The Mt. Taylor Manufacturing sawmill only processes logs harvested from high-risk fire-prone forest restoration projects. Each tree harvested is specifically selected to help restore both forest and watershed health. No old-growth timber is used in our manufacturing process. Our sawmill helps save New Mexico Forests!
